After Lion King, it's coincidental that these zoo pictures tumbled out. Haven't been to the zoo for decades, but it was a regular outing as Ma loved all creatures big and small. The growing up years saw us at the zoo with the date of the day, as I preferred that to the usual places those days. There was this friend whose sun glass was snatched by the chimp, and when another friend's boyfriend valiantly tried to retrieve it, got a nice tight slap in full view of the lady audience present. There was this cockatoo who said Happpooo hello darling everytime he saw Bhaskar with me and refused to oblige when I went with someone else 😉! The scariest tale was of course when Bhaskar got pushed into the Rhino's moat, because his eyes were straying and I needed his undivided attention! The Rhino was too shocked to react and BG passed the fitness test. And probably he thanked his lucky stars that lions were caged!
