You give me fever !

With FIFA being the flavor of the month , there is very little to talk about these days -Everybody has a favorite team and a a player and they know all the moves and the grooves ,and if not then Regina the soothsayer is there- stepped in the place of Paul the Octopus :) Chibu declared he is not going to start working before 14th July...job can wait !!! Our household is the same..the nocturnal routine revolving around the FIFA , and Brazil is inconviniently placed on the latitude for my liking :( Though I too like the Football but have no option but to watch the  action replay! The week was bad with episodes of hospitalization, helpers leaving and work that's endlessly unending ...looking forward to a weekend with fingers crossed...Ahh how I long for the solitude with  a story book and a cup of coffee... And amid all the arguments about Messi and Neymar and Oscar and Ronaldo, it was Chobi who made a profound observation.." Kon deshe khela hochche go didi?"- "Kyan

Mohua !

We go a long way.... around poojo 1978 :) ! You were always the sane one , the sounding board to the madcap, wildness in me...except of course when you tore Gavaskar's letter from Barbados(?) into bits and I tried to salvage that one with scotch tape. I still cherish those long evening talks in our balconies...life was simple then!  But some friendships remain precious even when you move away , out of sight and beyond communication....cos with them you connect with the heart! Happy birthday Mohua....may the year be happy and happening... ( Europe May 2015) !!!! May you be blessed with all the good things in life!  And amen to US and ours !  Theses are not the best of pics ..but they are close to my heart ..and You are one person who will remain precious to me no matter what ! Cheers !

Book of life !

-"Chibuu...porte bosh !!" -"5 mini !" -Chibu...boshli porte? -"Na..." - "Chibu ...paash korbi?" -"Na..umm ki jani...korteo pari" Officially this is over. I guess I shall miss this conversation, though over the last few years I have chilled , accepting the philosophy of whatever will be will be. I had this conversation for the last time last evening - and now for a long time amar chuti...:) Goodbye textbooks...a new chapter begins with the book of life.....
