I still am not a convert, but trying to fit in into the group that loves the mountains. I am still struggling with my vertigo and after effects of Avomine, but all that is sitting more comfortably on me. And I am less intimidated by the peaks. Of course I have my qualms still. I cannot climb down due to my knees, and I am at loss when the entire town sleeps by 10.30. The hills wake up early and sleeps earlier and it just does not match my bio clock. The gurgling river and the adda over trout fished by Pranesh were a bit of diversion. But I get restless without a city close by. But this time I noticed how mountains make everything look minuscule comparatively. The people walk miles in the uphill terrain so effortlessly. What happens if there is an emergency? No ambulance, no doctors , no medicines....yet the people are happy , smiling ...
