Hey You !

The  FB has gone viral with Maya Angelou posts - and why not ? She provided us with all our iconic quotes - for all seasons and reasons. For most of us she combined the traces of feminism and being feminine with aplomb and appealed to our collective spirit of being a Phenomenal Woman ! Coming back to Kolkata with the rains was a relief ! I escaped the heat - Kerala despite the humidity did not stifle us with the pressure cooker weather, thankfully. This time being a guide to B was fun - though he was a reluctant traveller - and was most unadventurous!! His constant query was how I travel alone all over the place without the language ..and everytime I said Reliance fresh-a...was a source of amusement ! But Kerala teaches me how to stress on the last syllable - right-a, left-a......:) "Jashmin deshe jadachar !" For Chibu this is the last week in college - not that he has been there much ( caused me great distress at times ) , yet in many ways this is the end..officially he...

It  has been almost 5 months that I am in Kolkata  and though I do not like to dwell upon it but it hasn't been a good year so far with health issues and debility in the family ,and care giving at times can be sapping and you want to go away for a while ! Even at the cost of being selfish ...But like I said teaching 23 adults with 23  different types quirkiness is jumping from the frying pan to the fire ! Maybe I need this me time to go back to what is my life.....till the travel bug bites me again ....and till I can travel ...
